- Course records such as lesson progress, responses, quiz attempts, project links, reflections, tutor feedback, attendance, reports, and final-assessment results.
- Operational records such as consent timestamps, session information, enrollment status, and support conversations.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Junio does not sell personal data or use student work for advertising profiles.

- To provide accounts, courses, mentor feedback, parent visibility, schedules, reports, and certificates.

When information is shared
Information is shared only with people who need it to provide the service: the learner's verified parent or guardian, assigned tutors, authorized Junio staff, and service providers that host or support the platform. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect a person from serious harm.
Student projects remain private inside the learning relationship unless a parent or legal guardian separately approves public sharing.
Storage and retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for learning records, account administration, safety, legal obligations, and dispute handling. Retention can vary by record type. When deletion is appropriate, data is deleted or de-identified from active systems; secure backups may take additional time to expire.
Your choices
- Parents and adult account holders may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity checks and records Junio must legally retain.
- Parents may withdraw optional consent for public use of student work at any time.
- Browser settings can control local storage and cookies, although essential session features may stop working.
Security and changes
Junio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
